More than a Sunday — a way of life

Beyond the celebration of Mass, our parish is a living community where faith is shared, friendships are formed, and love is put into action.

A welcoming community

St Joseph's is a warm, culturally diverse parish family. People of many backgrounds and generations worship side by side, united by the one faith and a shared sense of belonging.

Newcomers are always welcome — whether you've just moved to the area, are returning to the Church, or are simply exploring. You'll find a friendly face and an open door.

Prayer & devotion

Our spiritual life is nourished by more than the Sunday Mass. Through personal prayer, the Rosary, and devotion to Our Lady and the saints, parishioners are drawn ever closer to God.

The church is a place of quiet and refuge — a space to light a candle, offer an intention, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Sacramental preparation

We accompany children, young people and adults as they prepare to receive the sacraments — from the Baptism of infants to First Communion, Confirmation and beyond.

Families are supported every step of the way as they hand on the treasure of the faith to the next generation.

Pastoral care & outreach

Faith comes alive in service. Our parish reaches out with compassion to the sick, the grieving, the elderly and those doing it tough — offering comfort, prayer and practical care.

In caring for one another and for our wider community, we seek to be the hands and heart of Christ in West Brunswick.
