The seven sacraments

Grace for every season of life

The sacraments are sacred signs of God's grace, given by Christ and entrusted to the Church. At St Joseph's we accompany individuals and families through each one.

Baptism

Welcoming new members into the family of God through the waters of new life.

Eucharist

The Body and Blood of Christ — the source and summit of our Catholic life.

Reconciliation

Encountering God's mercy and forgiveness in the Sacrament of Penance.

Confirmation

Being sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit and strengthened in faith.

Marriage

Blessing the covenant of love between husband and wife before God.

Holy Orders

Ordained ministry through which Christ shepherds and serves His Church.

Anointing of the Sick

Christ's healing comfort for those who are seriously ill or frail.

Devotion

Prayer, the Rosary and veneration of Our Lady and the saints nourish our faith.
