St Vincent de Paul Conference

Food relief & home visits

Every Wednesday evening our Vinnies conference meets to plan home visits across the 3055 postcode. Members deliver food vouchers, second-hand furniture and — most importantly — a listening ear to families under pressure.

Reaches: ~140 households per year.

Migrant Welcome

Cuppa & conversation

A weekly informal English-conversation morning tea for newly-arrived migrants and refugees, hosted with the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project. Free, no booking, no questions asked.

Reaches: ~25 guests each Thursday.

Playgroup

Little Joseph's Playgroup

Tuesday and Friday mornings in the parish hall, 9:30–11:30am. Craft, songs, morning tea for grown-ups and safe play for the under-5s. All families welcome, of any faith or none.

Reaches: ~40 families across the year.

Golden Years

Seniors' morning tea

The second Thursday of every month, after 9:15am Mass. Scones, tea, a guest speaker or a card game, and lifts arranged for those who no longer drive.

Reaches: ~35 seniors monthly.
